Vintage Hob Nailed Steel Heel and Toe Boots

Welcome Back!   Okay today is a pair of Hob Nailed Boots I picked up.
I got these at a Major Movie Studio Sale, that was selling off old clothes.   So these were probably in an old movie you've seen.
Before Vibram Soles, they used Hob Nails to get traction on rocky slopes, hills and mountain work.
 Pebble grained leather.   Nicely made.
They also added steel heel and toe plates because they wanted a boot that can take major abuse from tough and rough conditions.
Be warned though, do not attempt to walk in these on a nicely polished marble floor.  You'll look like your on ice.
And even in my size.  They're a big 11 (room for thick socks)   I can't wear them as I'm not mountain climbing that much these days.   They are currently on Ebay if you want em'.

It's Vintage Gear for Guys!
