SEARS CRAFTSMAN AUTO CREEPER WITH ROL-EZ-E WHEELS

Today it's a cool item I picked up this weekend.

I've wanted one of these for awhile for oil changes and various other times when that big piece of cardboard just wasn't cutting it.
I'd say this Creeper is probably from the late 50's or mid 60's.
All hardwood.  Looks like oak.  All metal, and a cool naugahyde head rest.
It really doesn't look like it's been used much.  Actually if you look at the bottom the wood is discolored, as it's been sitting upright for decades.....
An example of the bolts used to hold it together.   I love old tools like this.   Plus it will save my coveralls from having to be washed so many times...   It's Vintage Gear for Guys!

  1. I have this exact creeper, mine the wheels are a little rusty and the headrest a bit faded, but the blue paint is still in great shape! got mine for $4.25 at a garage sale, named it Marian since that is the name scratched into the top of the top peice of wood. absolutely love Marian, we spend a lot of time together. "vintage gear for guys" tho? im a female mechanic! either way, great piece by craftsman as they obviously last a lifetime or two.

Guys is a term that can mean both sexes.... But I'll keep that in mind for the next post....
