1967-1968 XR3 SCHWINN DELUXE EXERCISER

Today in honor of the 1st and resolutions... Let's get in shape..
It's my new 1967-1968 XR3  Schwinn Deluxe Exerciser.
Like an old muscle bike... ready to burn the calories away...
It's only missing the bottom two rubber stoppers for the back legs.
This one came with leather toe straps!
Comes with a real speedometer and timer.
Back when they used real tires and wheels on them.
You get friction from a felt brake pad....

I've kind of always wanted one of these.  They just look so vintage and cool.   Plus they're made in America and all metal!  No cheap plastic parts to break on these, plus they're quite comfortable...  It's Vintage Gear for the "Fit" Guy!

1942-1943 ELGIN ORD. DEPT. USA WWII WRISTWATCH

Today it's another WWII service watch.
This time an Elgin.   From 1942-1943.
US marked on the back...
Not the original band though.  But the face is fantastic looking.
Really in great shape for it's age.  Manual wind.
I really love these little service watches from WWII.  This one is proudly worn by my son... It's Vintage Gear for Guys!

1978 SCHWINN STINGRAY BICYCLE

Merry Christmas everyone.... today this was under the tree for my son...
A Vintage Schwinn Stingray!
Just needs a little work to looks extra sharp, but very rideable...
It dates from 1978, the second to last year they made them.
We'll probably repaint it, but it's fine for now.  Originally a 3 speed coaster, so I'm going to be buying some parts for this soon.
Even the original tires!
Wouldn't you love to wake up to a brand new one of these on Xmas morning?
Super easy to ride, and looks great!  Not many kids today cruising the sidewalks in vintage Stingrays... it's vintage gear for guys and little guys!
