OSBORNE RIVET SETTING TOOLS

Today it's having the right tool for the job.
These are rivet setters.
They're all from the Osborne Tool company.
The round hole is for setting the burr on the rivet and the domed area is to form the dome on the rivet.
They come in different sizes per the size of the rivets.
The back end where you pound with a hammer.   I love having these type of real hand working tools.  No machines, just you and the tool.   It's Vintage Gear for Guys!

EARLY TO RISE LA HORSEHIDE VINTAGE COPPER RIVET BELTS

Today it's a "vintage" item from Early To Rise LA
If you remember I picked up a few really cool vintage copper rivets from the 1920's that had Anchors and Stars on them...  Well I found a use for them.
These are Horsehide Belts with one vintage Anchor or Star Rivet and Burr and two of the vintage rivets I found last week.
I think it's a pretty cool design, and it's kind of vintage.   I've been wearing one for a few months now and it's aging really well.
What's left of those rivets.  I can only do probably 20 of these belts then they're gone.
Here's the two side by side.   With the Horse hide blanks underneath them.
If it's something  that you think you'd like, click on the Early To Rise link and check them out.  It's Vintage Gear for Guys!
