BARBOUR'S SPECIAL COTTON LINEN THREAD

Today it's a really cool item I found.
Since I've gotten into leather working, I've always on the look out for vintage leather tools and supplies so my stuff is as close to vintage as it can get.
Today it's a vintage roll of Barbour's Special cotton Thread  #6 cord.
Six refers to the size and cord of the thread.
I'd guess this roll is from the 50's maybe... it's tough to tell.
A peek inside...  Ready to sew with.  It's Vintage Gear for Creative Guys!

1970's THE PLAYBOY CLUB MUG AND STIRRING STICKS

Here's a cool item from the 1970s...
A Playboy Club  "Key Club" mug!
black frosted glass with the logo and two bunny Stirring sticks.
It's more a novelty now then an actual usable mug, but it's still cool.
Even the glass was specially made just for the The Playboy Club!
Older Playboy merchandise is cool to find.  The Playboy Club was a piece of 20th century pop culture... If you find a key from them make sure you keep it!  It's Vintage Gear for Guys.

1920 or 1930 BLACK WORK BOOTS

Today it's something special you just don't find anymore...
Very early pair of work boots.   I'd guess from the 20's - 40's tops.
Super well made, I can't make out the maker... maybe some of you guys know?
black leather, leather sole and classic speed lace styling.
Still quite soft leather and really not a lot of wear on those soles.
The left shoe had a felt arch added.  Basically just a lump of felt.
example of the stitching.  Very fine like I see a lot of antique shoes.
Anyone make out what that says?   They're a size 5 D.  Pretty small for the average guy... but if you're a smaller size let me know..  Awesome boots either way.  It's Vintage Gear for Guys!
