I use the Army ones mostly just for mowing on Saturdays... Well, nothing new here, just boot Porn for the guys who love boots. After a while if you're into boots you'll find you'll start getting a collection going... but it's okay... It's good for you. It's Vintage Gear for Guys!
Today it's something my son found at the thrift store...
He's actually just getting into thrifting and was thrilled to find something cool.
It's the 1956 Boxing Kangaroo Caddy by McCoy. Made famous as a prop in Pulp Fiction.
You can put your wallet, rings, change, keys... all safely inside and around it.
I've seen them in two colors, brown and blue. This one is in great shape.
And if you read my blog, you've seen that I own the blue one.. .that's why my son was excited to find the brown one. Of course mine has a crack....
Not sure if it's visible but you can see the crazing on the finish... These things are just cool. If you're lucky enough to find one, buy it. You'll have fun using it. It's Vintage Gear for Guys!

It's a vintage EMPI club/racing jacket!

Looks like it's from the late 60's.
The perfect thing to wear if you're in a Bug!
EMPI is still around and supplying parts for you VW....
I liked this jacket because it was specific to a type and model of a car.
