Today it's a cool little item...
This is an Type A-11 1943 US Army Service Watch.
Complete with the original band!
Still in pretty good shape too.
It's a silver alloy so it's tarnished.
I think three makers made this style of watch for the government.
It has a yellow crystal on it, which I'm not sure is original or not. The dial is flaking a bit and is pretty much beyond using. I'm on the hunt for a set of replacement hands and a nos dial. These watches are amazingly small compared to modern watches of today. It's Vintage Gear for Guys.
