HICKORY STRIPE SUSPENDERS

Today it's a project I've been working on...  Suspenders!
I wanted to make a pair of suspenders out of quality materials... I think they turned out pretty cool.
I used Japanese Kurabo Hickory Stripe Fabric, hand sewn Vegetable tanned leather, nickel plated hardware that took forever for find what I was looking for.   And my standard copper rivets and burs.
It's the first pair I've made so far (actually I tried it first with a very thick cotton duck and it was so thick, it bent the suspender adjusters!)
I couldn't find elastic material in the pattern I wanted so I just used a piece of vintage elastic I found a roll in a thrift store... I've seen this pattern before and it seems to work.
The leather should age nicely with use and wear.   I put these up on www.EarlyToRiseLA.com as a prototype and would like some feedback from the one who buys them and wears them... It's Vintage Gear for Guys!
