VINTAGE ZEPCO 33 SPINNER FISHING REEL

Today it's an old Zepco 33 Spinner I picked up to go fishing this summer.
Needs a good cleaning and I'll probably repaint it and polish it up.
All Metal reel, with even brass on it... No plastic.
The Zepco 33 is one of the easiest reels to use and I thought my son would enjoy using it.
Today's model of this same reel are all plastic for the most part.  Which is fine, if you're into that sort of thing.
I've seen these old ones with black or white handles.
Still made in the USA...
What they look like with the cover off.
Now I just have to figure out how to take this thing apart, and then put it back together...  Old fishing reels are a cool addition to your Vintage Gear for Guys!

  2. I researched this Zebco 33 reel extensively on the Internet and could not find anything ... Also, you will find information concerning the Zebco Spinner Model 55 .... I spotted what appeared to be a vintage 33 in a local flea market recently.

  4. I also generally prefer Shimano over other fishing reels because of the durability, construction and strength to get hold of the bait even during a fish fight. No work, no gain.
