Today it's my 1922 White Rotary Family Sewing Machine

I bought this at a thrift store many years ago for about ten bucks.

I oiled it up and it runs really nice. I re-did the electric a little too just because after 90 years the cords didn't look so hot.

It won't win any beauty contests, but it does sew like nobody's business!

This is what I used to sew my shirt. I also am using it for a new project that I'll post probably next month.

The case's handle was missing so I made a replacement out of scrap leather... It's a heavy machine, but it holds. Not sure I could carry it for long walks though.

Just such detail went into what you bought back in the day. All metal and not an inch of plastic. No wonder 90 years later it's still working strong. A vintage sewing machine is vintage gear for guys who like to make or mend things...
