Well I'm sorry for not posting much as of late... but I'll try to get something new on here...
Thought you guys might want an update on two of my items. One is my Alden 405's and the other is my Wesco Custom Boss boots.

I've been trying to rotate these at least twice a week.
I oiled the 405's up about 6 months ago... looks like it's time for another oil.

Wanted to show how a little bit of wear and a few years can make you're boots look. Gives them a nice vintage look.


  1. You might think about Pecard's leather dressing in brown for the 405's. It would darken them up a little bit, which looks great IMO, and nourish the leather. If you don't want to darken the stitching, Obenauf's would certainly protect the leather quite well and still give it a rugged look.

  2. I've used Meltonian shoe cream in dark brown a couple of times on my 405's and love the results. Great looking boots!
