Technics SA-500 STEREO RECEIVER

Today I'm showing my Stereo in the back room...
It used to be when you bought a stereo it was a heavy and metal and wood...

Full of dials and knobs and levers

the dial "glided" across to get your channels.

It was a work of art... This is one such one. A Technics Stereo Receiver SA-500 by Panasonic.

It also has a phono input so I have to have it with my B&O record player. Vintage Stereo equipment is a guy thing... A Vintage Guy thing.

  2. I am happy to say that I loved these pictures... I too have a Technics SA-500... I have mine powering 4 DCM Loudspeakers. It is quite a work of art. It just kills me to see people throw away vintage greatness like this one!

I have a lot of videos on my youtube account for everyone to see the glory of the SA-500. youtube username: TheGreatBunghole16

  3. Hello,
I have this exact model, bought new by myself in 1979 for £150 as a recently discontinued model, the RRP was £345, quite a bit of money then, but it is quality and still works perfectly.

  7. If you have planned the installation of car stereo without any professional help, then make your task more professional by using the instructions of the stereo guidebooks.stereodevelopment.com
