LEVI 1960'S BIG E 501 JEANS

So many of you might have heard of Redline Big E Levi's but have never seen a pair...

This is a pair I just found and is currently on ebay. They're too big for me. Tagged a size 42 x 36 (measures 39x33) I'd keep them if they would have fit me... as I rarely find Big E's anymore...
This is a pair of original Levi Big E Red lines from the 1960's.

For those that don't know I'll give a light over view of what to look for.. First See the Levi's is spelled with a capital E... well that's where you get the phrase "Big E"

Notice a selvedge line inside the coin pocket....

The back pocket will tell you lot of the year of the jeans in question.

And this is selvedge... Levi's usually had a Red line that runs inside the white... you can see it in person, but not so much on the photo. That's where the phrase "Red-Lines" comes from.

  1. If you don't mind, what was the final price on eBay last time? I wish I could grab one....
