If you wear a vintage fedora, you're going to need of these... A Hat Stretcher. This one happens to be a vintage wood Hat Stretcher. It works quite simply by putting it where your head would be in a hat and turning the middle handle which makes the two ends push out. You push it till it tight and let it sit for a few days and then push it out a little more. Some guys wet their hats when they do this. I don't. But be careful with old leather sweatbands. They will crack if you go too much... I wear a size 7 3/8 in most Fedora and this size 7 seems to work fine for any hats I have that are a tad too small... Plus, when you're not using it, it just looks cool and most people ask what it is....
