1950'S FORDHAM HERRINGBONE JACKET

Today it's a cool old Herringbone jacket from the 1950's.

Classic 50's look...
Similar to a service jacket... like my old sears I have posted before.
Needs to hang for a little bit... closet fresh find.
I really can't find any faults on this one... almost like it was new.
Great details on jackets when they were made like this.
Check out that slanted cuff...  Just super nice.
Made by Fordham.  Not sure it this was a brand or just a tailor.   Either way it's really nice.  It's a size 40 and a bit snug on me, so I'll be putting it up on ebay or if you're interested let me know... It's vintage gear for guys!

1964 SINGER 240K 12 HAT / CAP SEWING MACHINE

Today it's a sewing machine I've been waiting for quite a while.

The Singer 240K 12 Hat / Cap Sewing machine.
This one is from 1964.   It's a chain stitch machine with no bobbin...
Still needs cleaned up and then I have to figure out how to thread the thing.
It's actually pretty small.   I'm hoping to make some caps with it.
Dates to 1964.
Lot's of thing to wind the thread around.
The underside... I guess they were making red caps before I got it.   I love having the right tool for the job.   I'm hoping this will be my hat machine... Then I can make some vintage caps!

1935 BINGO SET

Today it's part of a cool 1935 Bingo Set I bought a few months ago.

Since I don't have Bingo Parties, I decided to break up the set into sets of 6 cards for people to own and display.
The graphics on these are just so cool.
I also added 25 of the wood markers to go with it.
I guess these would have been used at church/group functions back in the day.
It's nice to know they use to make games with real wood and super heavy card stock.   No plastic in this set... if you want a set I put them up on ebay.  Just click on my ebay link at the top of the page.
